A HOTELS signed the Declaration on private sector support to global code of ethics for tourism

Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications in cooperation with United Nations' World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and German organization for technical cooperation (GIZ) have organized a two-day international conference with regard to the Danube Day “Sustainable tourism development in the Danube region: new perspectives.” General Secretary of the United Nations' World Tourism Organization Taleb Rifai and representatives of relevant ministries of Danubian countries have attended this event.

Declaration on private sector support  to Global code of ethics was signed on the first day of the Conference. Miroljub Aleksic, ALCO GROUP  (part of which is A Hotels chain) president and owner held a speech in the name of all of the undersigned. He was the first person to sign the Declaration, thus accepting the obligation for A Hotels to apply provisions of the Global code of ethics.

Important data on tourism events were given by senior officials at the opening ceremony, Rasim Ljaljic -a Minister in Serbian Government, Karla Hershey- a UN Coordinator in Serbia and Taleb Rifai, General Secretary of United Nations' World Tourism Organization, who opened the Conference and  whose speech left strong impressions on all participants.
